E.C. Williams Ltd. has been supplying a copper plating service for over 90 years and today we have a modern state of the art processing plant which is capable of providing a wide variety of electroplating services to meet the demands of our industrial customers.
Our main activity is in the copper plating of components for both the electrical and electro-mechanical industries.
The combination of barrel and vat processing facilities give us the ability to copper plate both small components such as weld studs and fasteners as well as larger pressings and castings.
We are able to control deposits from 2 to 25 microns as well as offer post plating treatments such as anti-tarnish dips and lubricants. We copper plate onto most substrates including phosphor bronze, brass and steel and zinc die-casts.

In addition to ensuring the very highest quality, our copper electroplating departments also offer high capacity to meet the demands of industry in terms of speedy turnaround and both large and small batch sizes.
This flexible capacity together with a system of very accurate pricing ensures that our rates are consistently competitive.
To certify the coating thickness we have X Ray Fluorescence test equipment which quickly and accurately reports the exact amount of copper deposited.
We supply copper plating – as well as other forms of electroplating – to all sectors of industry including automotive, rail, power generation, power transmission, domestic and industrial appliances.
