Coating Requirement
A zinc coating to achieve 96 hours salt spray performance even on the inside of the component. Another critical requirement is to control the coating thickness in the thread as these parts are robotically assembled and the torque characteristics are essential.
Solution Supplied
Using accurately specified barrel loadings and rectifier settings we have been able to control the coating thickness within the tight tolerances specified – even when the volumes are in excess of 300,000 per week. The coating is also RoHS and WEEE compliant. To support the upward supply chain we weigh count and pack into specified boxes and pallet systems for ongoing export.
